Adam Bennett confirmed as Trainee Patent Attorney at Ellis IP
We are delighted to confirm that Adam Bennett has joined Ellis IP as a Trainee Patent Attorney.
Adam joins us after completing an MChem (Hons) in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh. During the course of his studies, Adam had the opportunity to spend time as a summer researcher at Tianjin University in China working on novel protein encapsulation systems for drug-delivery applications.
At Ellis IP, we believe in an entrepreneurial spirit and like to foster that. Our team members all have commercial experience which gives us a commercial perspective when working with our clients. Adam certainly adds to that having been a student entrepreneur as founder of Edinburgh start-up digital enterprise “PostRoast.co.uk”, a market disrupting fresh coffee distribution platform. With a small team and raising pre-revenue grant funding, Adam won the UoE Enterprise Award 2015 and was awarded a Business Scholarship.
Adam is also a keen web developer and will help us improve our digital presence.
Adam joins our team on the chemistry and life sciences side primarily and we look forward to him growing into an asset for Ellis IP and our clients.
